John Burrison Pottery Studio
The Folk Pottery Museum is excited to announce that the long-awaited John Burrison Pottery Studio at the Sautee Nacoochee Center is officially open and ready for classes!
After a few delays and much anticipation, the studio is now fully equipped with nine pottery wheels, a dedicated hand-building and sculpture area, and two kilns—making it a complete, functional space for learning and creating.
We’re thrilled to partner with a talented team of instructors to offer an inspiring lineup of classes and workshops this summer. Stay tuned—additional workshops for late summer will be announced soon as we continue to expand our offerings!
We can't wait to welcome artists and makers into the John Burrison Pottery Studio.

Fairy House Mug Class

Start a fairy garden in your cabinet! You will be creating a 12oz mug with your own design of a fairy house. You can use stamps, textures, carving, and adding clay for relief. Some colors will be provided to add a little contrast.
