Artist Statement

Debbie Craig studied her craft at the University of Georgia and abroad in Cortona, Italy. She has well over forty years experience working in clay as a professional studio potter and pottery teacher for children and adults. She has been associated with the Glynn Visual Arts on St. Simons Island, GA for over 30 years as a teacher and Pottery Studio Director (currently retired). Debbie continues teaching part-time at College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, GA (Introduction to Ceramics and Intermediate Ceramics). Debbie is committed to creating work to enrich lives for those using her pots in everyday settings.
